HRS Classroom Orientation
Description: New
Staff employees are required to attend this one day
class designed to introduce them to the culture,
organization, key policies, perks and benefits
of working at Appalachian.
Date & Time: The
FIRST Wednesday of each month from 8:00 am – 4:00
pm
Location: Founders Hall, Room 129 (Training Room)
Online Orientation
An online orientation is available to new Staff hires, and can be completed in addition to OR in lieu of the HRS Classroom Orientation. Please contact HRS at 828-262-3186 for the password to access the online orientation.
Faculty and EPA Administrative employees are required to complete the online orientation; however, they are welcome to attend the HRS Classroom Orientation. Please contact HRS at 828-262-3186 for the password to access the online orientation.
Department Orientation
New employees are led through an informal department orientation to learn the fundamentals, policies, and procedures for their every day job responsibilities. Each department handles this differently; see your manager for details.Schedules and Information:
