2.	    8/27		Modeling and first half of the Big Bang Model -- Read over lecture notes and the 
				first half of the reference pages given in the schedule.

3.	    8/28		Big Bang Model -- Read over the remaining lecture notes and remaining reference
				pages  given on the Schedule. 			 

4.	    9/1			Read Ch. 1 p. 12-25. Start Web Assign assignment for Ch. 1

5.	    9/3 		Continue WebAssign for Ch. 1, read the remaining pages for Ch. 1 p. 26-36.

6.	    9/4			Study Modeling and the Big Bang Model notes for a quiz (Wed 9th)at the beginning of
                                class. The quiz will have five items: definitions, fill in the blanks or multiple 
                                choice and one problem. 

7. 	    9/8			Begin Reading of Chapter 2 p. 46-59. Start Web Assign assignment for Ch. 2

8. 	    9/9			First Quiz at beginning of class. Material: Major Ideas in Modeling and the Big Bang 
                                Model.

9.	    9/10		Read remaining part of Ch 2. p. 60-76.
			    
10.         9/11		Study for Quiz 2 on Ch. 1 and 2 at the beginning of class on Wednesday (16th) Read 
                                Ch 3 p. 86-98.  

11.         9/15		Continue studying for Quiz 2 on Wed (16th) and
				Start WebAssign assignment for Ch. 3 and read Ch. 3 p. 99-110.

12.	    9/17		Read Ch. 3 from p. 111-122. 

13.         9/18		Read Ch. 5.from p. 172-177, 188-192, 198 and Ch. 6 from p. 216-227.

16.         9/23-24             Study for Hour Test(on Friday the 25th) 

17.         9/24                Hour Test. There will be 50 items on the test similar to the questions on the quizes
                                Problems will count for more credit, they will count for two or three questions. You 
				may use the First Exam Sheet during the test.
