Auditions are held each semester for the season of performances-- generally during the first week of classes.

You do not have to be a Theatre & Dance student to audition. Many students participate in our program for extra curricular fun and creative fullfillment. Technical positions are available by contacting the Design/Tech staff.

Students must maintain an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to participate in productions. (Except for instances where production work is required by a class in which the student is currently enrolled.)

Each set of auditions is held by the director(s) of the shows being cast. Usually, a monologue is suggested. Dancers and Actors please remember to come dressed to move! See the Audition Guidelines for more information.

Theatre & Dance auditions for each semester are listed on the office calendar by the week before classes. You may also Email the main office (asutheatre@appstate.edu) for audition dates and times.
