General Education Task Force
The Appalachian State University General Education Task Force
is charged with the task of developing a signature general education program for undergraduate students attending the University.
The Task Force will
consider the following in completing their task:
- Conduct general overview of issues and approaches
- Establish objectives that a General Education curriculum should engender
- Evaluate the current approach relative to objectives
- Explore alternative models
- Be creative
- Keep campus involved throughout the process
The Task Force is chaired by Sue Keefe (Anthropology) and
consists of students, faculty and staff. Use the links to the
left to learn about and contribute to the Task Force's efforts
to develop a signature general education program.
