The Space Telescope Science
Institute (STSI) also provides Web-based K-12 activities in the Amazing
Science project. This project includes Teacher Tips for integrating
the presentations with various curricula. The only drawback is that
some of the activities took a long time to load using a Pentium 200 MHz
computer running the latest browsers.

Live from the Stratosphere
(Kuiper Airborne Observatory) is a site primarily for K-12 education.
As with the STSI site, it may take some time to load. However, the
opportunity to download data in the classroom during a live mission (complete
with lessons plans to assist with the project) provides an interactive
experiment between NASA and the students.

The NASA Shuttle Web
site provides up to the minute information about the latest shuttle missions.
This will be particular interesting as the Space Station is constructed.
There is also the opportunity for individuals or classes to communicate
with shuttle workers about their jobs, simulate shuttle flights and suggest
shuttle improvements. (Plus, the photos are spectacular.)
