Want to post an announcement? Find out what's going on? Or join in a discussion with other communication majors? Then this is the place to go. ComBoards is a threaded discussion space, where you can post and reply to messages. We've set up several initial categories for use, and more will be added as time goes by. We're hoping that faculty, students, and alumni use this space to share events, ideas, and successes. After all, a Communication Department ought to encourage communication, right? If you have a suggestion for a new discussion area, please email the Webmaster.

Do I have to Login?
You can use the ComBoards without logging in as a new user. But setting up a login ID does give you some advantages. First, it will let you know if you have any mail sent to you personally. Second, it allows you to configure what messages you want to see, and to customize the display of the forums. Finally, setting up a login ID allows you to have email notifications sent to you when people send you a private message on the ComBoard, and to subscribe to a board. Subscribing to a board means ComBoard will send to your email address a daily digest of all posts put up on that board. Again, you don't have to log in, but it will give you some advantages if you do. Of course, all information entered into the ComBoards system will remain private.
