Dr. Nina-Jo Moore (1987), Associate Professor, teaches classes in the applied communication area. She received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of South Florida, her master of arts degree from the University of Georgia, and her doctorate from the University of Maryland. Dr. Moore is a member of the Speech Communication Association, Southern States Communication Association, and the Carolinas Speech Communication Association. Before coming to Appalachian, she taught at the University of Richmond, Louisiana State University in Shreveport, and at high schools in Florida and Maryland.
