Dr. Janice Pope(1995), Assistant Professor, teaches in the public relations sequence. She received her bachelor of arts degree in public relations, her master of arts degree in journalism and her doctorate in mass communication from the University of Alabama. Before returning to graduate school, she worked for International Paper Company for five years and as a reporter and photographer for a newspaper. At the University of Alabama, Dr. Pope worked in university relations and held an adjunct teaching position. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the International Society of Social Network Analysis and the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. Dr. Pope is the advisor for ASU's Public Relations Student Society of America.
