Heather Paige Preston, Lecturer, teaches desktop publishing and public relations courses, and is the designer and layout editor of the Department's newsletter. She received both her bachelor of science in journalism (1990) and her master's degree (1996) from Ohio University.
Her professional experience includes serving as the copy editor of the National Women's Studies Association Journal; working as a free-lance writer, creating promotional material for Ohio University; and serving as assistant events coordinator for the Athens County (Ohio) Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Heather's first love is the Beatles--Paul McCartney is her favorite--and she has studied and written about the group's publicity and its effect on print media coverage in the United States.
