Dr. Pat Reighard (1978) is Associate Dean in the College of Fine and Applied Arts and a communication professor. He teaches classes in radio and television writing and broadcast production. He received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his master of arts degree from Appalachian and his doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Reighard has also consulted with businesses and educational institutions to produce audio and video programming. He is a member of the Broadcast Education Association, the National Broadcasting Society (Alpha Epsilon Rho), and the State Employees Association of North Carolina.
