Dr. Dave Spiceland (1992), Associate Professor, teaches broadcasting courses. He has worked professionally in the broadcasting industry since 1972. Dr. Spiceland received his bachelor of arts degree in communication at Freed-Hardeman University, his master of arts degree in radio-TV-film from the University of Memphis and his doctorate in broadcasting from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Dr. Spiceland has also taught at the University of Central Arkansas, Faulkner University, and Abilene Christian University. He is a member of the Broadcast Education Association and the National Broadcasting Society (AERho). Dr. Spiceland is the department advisor for the NBS chapter at Appalachian.
