SPEND A DAY HAVING A PICNIC

There are places along the county roads of Ashe County NC and
Johnson County TN where you can just drive off and have a view and a picnic.
Most land owners would be glad to have you walk along their property if you
ask first. All stocked trout streams allow access for fishermen,
to those streams, since it is stocked by the state.
It would be wise however;to get a fishing license if you plan to fish.
- Backpack a lunch stop at the store and get your trash bag.
- Walk up the trail as far as you care to.
- Select a log or rock with a view.
- Take pictures or take in the view.
- Enjoy have a nice day.
- We have evening campfires and storytelling.
- Group activities must be reserved ahead of time.
