Describe the normative sample
|
176 items included in the first edition were administered to 480 children from 3-8 years of age. Examinees were all white monolingual singletons of normal intelligence, with no evidence of hearing loss, enrolled in 14 public schools and 21 nursery schools in Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota. The total of the 480 were divided into 8 sub samples of 60 children each at 3, 3-5, 4, 4-5, 5, 6, 7, and 8 years. Each age group was tested within one month of designated age. These children were selected to be used to represent the urban population of the U.S. |
