This the course home page for CD 5731 Neurogenic Disorders I: Aphasia, Apraxia, Dysarthria, & Dysphagia. Students should check this page regularly for announcements and other information.

Post-Test

Students may complete the post-tests for extra credit. An average score of 80% or better on all sections earns 10 extra credit points.

Final Exam

  • 8 multiple choice questions related to case descriptions
  • 3 short essay (1 paragraph) questions related to case descriptions
  • 18 "listing" questions
    • 3 fluent aphasias
    • 3 reasons for aspiration
    • 4 treatments for stroke
    • etc
  • Students may use both sets of cheat sheets during the exam

Inclement Weather

Only under extreme circumstances (think feet, not inches) does the university close due to inclement weather. This class will meet unless the university is closed. Any exceptions to this policy will be posted on this page and also to the student email list by 3:00 p.m. of the day of class.
