About Us


Our Mission and Our Staff

The mission of Cre8tive Drama is:

  • Affordable creative drama experiences in Boone, NC for ages 6 and up;

  • To introduce young people to creative drama and performing arts; and

  • To encourage local pre-service and in-service creative drama professionals.

 

Gordon Hensley
Founder/Facilitator, Teacher/Artist
Gordon is full-time faculty at Appalachian State University's Department of Theatre & Dance, and coordinator of their Theatre Education program. He is a NC licensed educator with a BS in K-12 Theatre Education, and a MFA in Theatre for Youth.
