This directory holds images of our operations area
in the computer center in Raley Hall.  They were 
taken with a sony 8mm handy cam and frames were 
converted using a Mac and some video capture software
call Video monitor.  The pict files where then 
converted to tiff via a tool called graphic converter.
The tiff files were uploaded and converted to gif 
using xv on an Ultrix machine. 

This was my first real attempt to capture video 
frames.  I think the quality will be better after
I learn more about the video capture software.

Why did I do this you may ask?  Well to set up a 
mosaic demo.  Soon they will be available in a 
online tour of our computer center.
