COURSE DESCRIPTION:
    A practical guide to the theory of theatrical makeup.
    Students will become familiar with the traditional and color theory approaches to makeup. Various conceptual and technical problems will be studied
    and solved. Students will be expected to execute makeup designs for productions to be assigned. Prerequisite: THR 2216 or permission of the
    instructor.

COURSE GOALS/OBJECTIVES:
    Students will become familiar with the traditional and color theory approaches to makeup. Various conceptual and technical problems will be studied
    and solved. A student will be expected to have competence in execution of makeup designs in varying degrees of difficulty. The students will
    compile a working makeup "morgue that will allow them to research these specific problems posed. The student will apply makeup to their own
    faces will be assigned a makeup running crew to practice makeup application others. The class will be in lecture form with primary emphasis on
    laboratory applications.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS AND GRADING:

ATTENDANCE:
    You are allowed one absence. For every absence over one the final letter grade will be deducted one-third. A student will be required to do each
    make up assignment on the assigned day. Students will be allowed to "redo" one project to receive a better grade.
