Notes:

The 5 points of extra credit were added to the first exam and the 8 points from the quiz to the second exam, so that they increased the percentage scores on those exams by 500 and 800 basis points respectively. If you like, you may think of these as small bonuses for attendance. The percentage score for each exam was then multiplied by 1.5 and the percentage score on the Final Exam by 2 to arrive at the point total shown. Refer to the syllabus for the translation of points into letter grades.

Final grades for all sections will be posted late Wednesday afternoon.

For the Final Exam scores, mean = 66.8, standard deviation = 14.4, median = 68. The distribution of grades for the Final Exam was
