If you can't load or read pages from this site, do you have Adobe's Acrobat Reader on your computer?  Many of my pages are posted in PDF format, especially lecture notes, self tests, and so on. To read these pages, you must have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.  If you have this program, it will automatically begin whenever you try to open a PDF document on the web.  All of the on-campus computers have the program.  If you're working from home and don't have Acrobat Reader, you can download a copy at zero price from Adobe.  Go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html and follow the directions there.

For material posted as Power Point Shows, or .pps files, some browsers have trouble. If a Power Point Show appears in your browser as gibberish, try using Microsoft Internet Explorer, which is on virtually all Windows computers.
