Also look at Aharon Rabinowitz's podcasts on Text animation in After Effects bellow.Aharon has some of the best tutorials on the web. Here is a great one to create a flock of birds that teaches you so much is such a short amount of time (get part 2 here). .

Anyone who is into Motion Graphics has studied the tutorials you will find at Creative Cow. This is a great resource for learning many advanced techniques in After Effects and other programs. AE Portal and stevengotz, or here have an extensive list of links to AE tutorials. The Adobe Studio Exchange is a great place to find plug-ins, tutorials and more. The other must visit site is Video Copilot, with lots of free tutorials, online help and forms for all things After Effects.

Check out Google's Help page with optimizing your video codec for the best possible presentation.

AE Tuts+ has a great tutorial on Design Rhythmic Motion Typography in After Effects--a great workflow for animating text with sound.

AE Tut+ has some great tutorials on creating backgrounds and Design Rhythmic Motion Typography in After Effects. AfterEffectsDownloads has some free background project files.

Also download and install the free SureTarget Plugin here fromVideo Copilot. This link also has a great tutorial for using the plugin, which gives you incredible control over camera movements in AE. Andrew Kramer's excellent tutorials on previous versions of the plug in are here (short version) and here (long version), great workflows for creating background graphics as well as control camera movement with SureTarget.
