Welcome! Like all professors, I am a teacher
and a research schoIar and writer. In my
personal life, I like to take pictures of waterfalls and try to get out in nature as much as possible.  I joined the
ASU Dept. of English faculty in 1999. Since then, I have learned a
good deal about both education and myself. While institutions change,
the need to communicate and relate does not. Teaching English is a
reminder of this every day.
