The North Carolina World Trade Association (NCWTA) is dedicated to serving businesses engaged in
or interested in international trade. The association promotes the growth of international trade between
North Carolina and the world.

The Northwest chapter is managed by the Appalachian International Business Center (AIBC)
at Appalachian State University. The Institute provides ongoing support for the chapter as part of
its mission to build the export capacity of business in Western North Carolina.
